Tottenham drop clever hint for Champions League final in new kit launch video

Tottenham have released their new kit for the upcoming season, Antonio Conte’s first full campaign in charge.

As is now commonplace, the club tweeted out a promotional video to go along with the new strip, which is more adventurous than last season’s White effort.

There is a blue and yellow pattern around the neck and sleeves, and Harry Kane and Heung-min Son are among the players who model it.

The video can be viewed below, and some fans have already spotted the nifty reference related to the Champions League final.

Tottenham are of course in the Champions League next season, having moved Arsenal to fourth place in the final weeks of the season.

Conte has them dine at the highest table in European football and the video references it around the 20-second mark.

One of the fans modeling the kit reads a travel guide for Istanbul, which will be the scene of next season’s Champions League final.

Spurs of course reached the 2019 final, where they were beaten by Liverpool under former manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Conte’s new signing Ivan Perisic will be among the players wearing the new kit and fans are hoping for more arrivals by the start of next season.

Keeping Kane to wear the new shirt would also be a big plus and as things stand there really isn’t an obvious way out of Tottenham for him.

Spurs fans will hope this kit will go down in history as the one in which their club broke their trophy drought under Conte.

And what a night it would be if it happened in Turkey on June 10…
