EduBirdie, an academic platform, hires up to 10 summer examiners to “inspect and survey” the best places for students in Canada and the United States for a month and a half.
If you get the job, you’ll be given a list of the most popular summer vacation destinations for students in Canada and the United States, and then compiled a list of destinations and places you can realistically assess.
Destinations are New York, LA, Chicago, Ashburn, Houston, Dallas, Washington, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Seattle, Boston, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Austin, San Antonio, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, Columbus, Roseville , Miami, Orlando and Denver in the United States
In Canada, the locations are Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Victoria, Ottawa and Quebec.
You will need to shoot video and photo content at each location to capture the day and night life characteristics of each destination.
EduBirdie will provide video and photo equipment or technical assistance if required, and cover all additional fees and expenses for the work.
Each reviewer will receive a cash reward of $1,000 for each venue – including beaches, cafes, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, concerts and parties – they review.
To apply, you must be a resident of Canada or the United States and be 21 years of age or older.
In addition, you must be a real student or a student “at heart”, know how students spend their free time, be an expert in travel and be confident in giving recommendations, writing reviews and rating accurately the pros and cons of the places you visit. .
Experience creating similar content, writing reviews and a strong social media presence is considered an asset.
