Saturday Club organizes a bus trip to San Francisco – The Vacaville Reporter

The Saturday Club of Vacaville has offered many bus trips to San Francisco in the past, usually to Union Square around Christmas.

Next month, just in time for summer, the Saturday Club will host a day trip to two of the city’s top tourist destinations: Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf.

The May 18 trip begins at 9:30 a.m. with a bus departing from the Alamo Plaza near Big Lots, 818 Alamo Drive. A later bus will depart at 10 a.m. from the JC Penney parking lot in downtown Solano, 1330 Travis Blvd., Fairfield.

The bus will arrive at Pier 39 at 11 a.m. Home to over 110 shops, 11 restaurants and plenty of entertainment and attractions, including the world famous sea lions.

Located just down the street from Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf is home to several seafood restaurants and markets, street vendors, and attractions such as Ripley’s Believe it or Not, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, and the Mechanical Museum. . The wharf also has a cable car that goes to Union Square.

The bus will depart San Francisco at 3:00 p.m. with an estimated arrival in Vacaville at 4:00 p.m.
