Meghan Markle used to share vacation tips on her lifestyle blog, The Tig. The Duchess of Sussex described a favorite break as “invigorating”.
Meghan wrote: “Ambitious travel goals have been set in my wanderlust-filled life, but 48 hours in Istanbul was perhaps the most ambitious.
“This is Istanbul, after all, with its grand bazaar, over 3,000 mosques to explore, carpets to strategically take home, baklava to devour, neighborhoods filled with culture, the essential hammam you simply must try , and oh yeah that big old Bosphorus .
“Example: there is a lot to do.”
Istanbul is bisected by the Bosphorus Strait, with each side of the shore having its own unique character.

Meghan continued: “Equal parts invigorating and dizzying, 48 Hours in Istanbul is business indeed.
“Rest assured, your head will be spinning with Turkish delight once back on the plane, but is definitely worth every single moment.”
The Duchess of Sussex said she enjoyed exploring Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar on her whirlwind trip.
One of the oldest covered markets in the world, tourists can buy spices, carpets and anything under the sea in the maze-like shopping area.
