SAN ANTONIO (March 9, 2022) – Frontier Airlines, an ultra-low-cost carrier, today announced that it will restore service from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and introduce a new service to Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). These new non-stop flights will arrive just in time for the summer holidays. Until now, PHL was SAT’s largest unserved market since the start of the pandemic. Previously, nearly 125,000 annual passengers traveled between the two cities.

“Atlanta is served by two carriers, so with the addition of Frontier’s new flight, the 297,000 annual passengers who travel between the two markets will have even more options,” said Brian Pratte, director of airline services and marketing. , San Antonio Airport System. “It gives vacationers the opportunity to visit some of the popular tourist destinations in the United States.”

The new route to Philadelphia will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is scheduled to begin June 15 and service to Atlanta will operate Thursdays and Fridays and begin May 26.
